✅ a fully customizable program term that works for both fixed-term cohorts like 6 or 12-week programs AND ongoing monthly subscription-based programs (so you can use the same T&Cs whether your group program has a set end date or runs on a rolling month-to-month basis)
✅ an installment payment clause with pro-rata access gating, so if you allow participants to pay in installments, they only get access to the portion of the program that corresponds to what they’ve already paid (so you never have to deliver the full program to someone who stops paying halfway through)
✅ a refund policy with multiple options: from fully non-refundable to a satisfaction guarantee (but only under stringent conditions), including a legal waiver of statutory cooling-off and withdrawal rights (so participants can’t demand a refund just because they changed their mind after signing up)
✅ a chargeback protection clause that requires participants to reimburse you for any disputed payments, bank fees, and legal costs if they file a chargeback (so a credit card dispute from one unhappy participant doesn’t leave you out of pocket)
✅ a creations clause covering everything participants post in your community — giving you a license to use, edit, and remove their content at your sole discretion (and making clear they are solely responsible for what they share)
✅ an intellectual property clause that protects your coaching frameworks, methods, workbooks, and materials from being copied, shared, or used to coach others (so the unique methods and tools you've built stay yours, even after the program ends)
✅ a non-disparagement clause that prevents participants from publicly attacking your business, products, or reputation (so a disgruntled attendee can’t go on a social media rampage against you without legal consequences)
✅ a limitation of liability clause that caps what participants can ever claim against you (so one difficult group program can never threaten your entire business)
✅ client warranties requiring participants to confirm they are at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into a contract, and in a mental and emotional state suitable for coaching (so you have solid legal ground if a participant misrepresents themselves)
